A symposium is one day, multiple sessions, multiple speakers, usually half- or full-day. A series is multiple events spread across weeks or months, typically the same speaker or theme. If your event happens on a single calendar day with several talks back-to-back, it is a symposium.
The self-serve application is capped at 4 sessions. For larger or more complex events (8-session multi-track day, multi-institutional, custom CME) tell us about it through the custom inquiry form and our team will design the event with you.
Both work. We support a shared mode (one Zoom webinar for the whole day; speakers swap in and out) and a per-session mode (each session has its own Zoom; useful for tighter access control or independent recordings). You pick during planning, before any webinar is scheduled.
Symposium pricing is structured as a regional base price plus a per-additional-session add-on, since most fixed costs (CME filing, video archive, promotion) do not scale linearly with session count. Final figures are confirmed during the discovery call.
Yes. A symposium counts as a single CME activity covering the full day, so attendees earn credits proportional to the total credit-hours. Pharma-facilitated symposiums get CME filing handled at no cost, same as Grand Rounds.
